Successful completion of pilot housingfraud in Eindhoven
Housing association “woonbedrijf” in Eindhoven (The Netherlands), had 6000 of its homes scanned for possible housingfraud. Together with four other housing associations has “Woonbedrijf” participated in the pilot 'Housingfraud?” of the Centre for Crime and Safety (CCV) in 2009.
This housingfraud scan - conducted with the products of Friss in combination with consumer data from Experian - showed that 1 percent of the 6,000 homes of “Woonbedrijf” was effectively cases of housingfraud. The results from this scan and the actions taken during a meeting on Monday, April 26 this year presented by “Woonbedrijf”, CCV and other security partners in Eindhoven and surroundings, such as municipal, police, fellow corporations, care and welfare.
After the presentations received Rob Gijzel, mayor of Eindhoven, the findings and recommendations of the scan from the hands of Marc Eggermont, Managing Director of Residential Business.
