Generali chooses Friss platform for customer screenings

Generali has chosen the Friss platform for screening customers. This platform helps Generali in meeting the Act on Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing. This law stems from the third EU Money Laundering Directive. In relation to old laws there are a number of significant changes, such as the obligation to client inquiries, identifying the beneficial owner and additional measures for so-called "politically exposed persons (PEP). The platform offers a solution that is ready for the future.

Many features (including a large set of validated controls and standard interfaces with various external sources) is out-of-the-box available. Generali has implemented the solution with a minimal burden on the Generali organization. Friss also offers the solution as a service (Software as a Service) which has a more limited 'upfront investment, can be interfaced quickly and no investment in proprietary hardware and moderation. Finally, the solution offers flexibility in the data sources used. This makes it possible to switch between PEP list providers (such as the quality / price of a particular vendor change). It is easy to add one of the other more than 50 data sources.
