Friss links Facebook to fraud solution

Social media is increasingly being used to trace insurance fraud. Recent media reports talked about an insurance company that had terminated someone’s car insurance after finding incriminating information on Facebook. Friss is therefore now also offering a link with Facebook.

Besides 60 other sources including Twitter and Google, Friss fraud and risk management can now also access a link to the public part of Facebook. This real-time link to Facebook makes life much easier for claims handlers and fraud coordinators. They can now see at a glance whether those involved are active on Facebook and whether any relevant information is available. A manual search for information on Facebook is therefore a thing of the past.
