In our view it is really useful to bring these aspects, that are in part based on the priorities from the fraud management plan, to the attention of the employees both in online training (E-learning) and in offline workshops. Attention is paid in the workshops particularly to those points that the online training has shown require extra attention. Repetition of the training is necessary to create an active awareness for fraud in the employees. Another way of increasing the awareness is by the automatic setting of hard and soft fraud indicators with feedback to the employee. In this way the employee is given repeated insight in the use of the fraud indicators so that he will also be more likely to apply these himself. As well as this attention must be paid to the policy in the organisation in relation to the fraud process. It is of importance that a good fraud management plan is drafted.
